MyCV

The Advance CV module was created based on the 2003 UCSF CV Guidelines developed by the Academic Senate Committee on Academic Personnel (CAP). The design was intended to ensure consistent reporting of academic activities to facilitate and standardize the academic review process.

Academic Packets

University policy requires that all academic appointees at UCSF be periodically evaluated to assure that they are meeting the requirements for their series and rank. Academic review actions include Appointment, Appraisal, Career Review, Change in Series, Five Year Review, Merit, and Promotion. At UCSF, the academic review process is managed within the Advance application. Academic appointees - Faculty and non-Faculty Academics (NFAs) – use Advance to manage their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and to compile the documentation required for academic review. Faculty use Advance to request Academic Leaves (Sabbatical and Professional Development Leave) as well as other Academic Requests (Stop the Clock, Temporary Reduction in Percentage of Time and Active Service – Modified Duties).
