UCSF Presidential Chair Award 2024-2025

Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce this call for nominations for the 2024-25 UCSF Presidential Chair Award. Nominations will be accepted from September 13, 2023- January 24, 2024.

The UCSF Presidential Chair is intended to encourage new or interdisciplinary program development or to enhance quality in existing academic programs of the University.

To meet this broad goal of contributing to the enrichment of campus academic life, UCSF allocates Presidential Chair funding of up to $150,000 to support the appointment(s) of two distinguished visiting professor(s) for up to one year.

Eligibility requirements, award criteria, nomination form, and a list of prior recipients are available on the award webpage.

Nominations are due by January 24, 2024.

Please share this with chairs, chiefs, directors, and administrative leaders within your respective schools and areas of oversight.
